Description:

In this workshop, Lahtnor welcomes you into learning his style and philosophy for safe and efficient rope.

An example of the content of this workshop is structures for upper and lower body ties & TK and Hip Harness. In order to create the best possible learning environment and skills most in line with the needs and desires of his students though, the content is flexible and can change form, depending on Lahtnor’s interaction with the participants.

Participants will also take an inside look into what makes a structure stable and safe, & what to look for into making great ties and how to achieve it through proper use of techniques and handling, knowledge and execution.

During these days we will also focus in on the mindset of being in ropes and how we connect emotionally between the one tying and the one being tied.

This will give the core starting point with rope, the basic techniques and knowledge about body and mind & how to safely traverse on your own journeys in the world of ropes.

Examples of topics:

oTechniques for creating a good foundation with ropes.

oBody awareness for rigger and model.

oStructures for upper and lower body ties, TK and Hip Harness.

oRope handling and flow.

oFear & Intimidation.

oGiving pain with ropes.

oWhat makes a structure stable and safe,

oWhat to look for into making great ties and how to achieve it through proper use of techniques and handling, knowledge and execution.

You will need to pay 70€ in advance, at least by the 20th of April, to ensure your position.

The rest 70€ can be paid upon arrival.

The workshop will be followed by a powerful performance from Lahtnor, Eriser and more t.b.a.

A few words about the instructor:

Lahtnor found his interest in ropes around 2012. Since the start he knew he wanted to blend his skills as a professional musician and educator into a multi-faceted artistry.

Lahtnor shares the soul of the Japanese origin of Kinbaku by having the same kind of respect towards time and flow but going beyond the traditional ways of tying. He uses his knowledge of body mechanics to create a style focusing in on the body at hand.

Add to this a blast of theater, strong emotions and a seemingly unstoppable energy and you'll get Lahtnor awe inspiring performances with it's heavy impact on your mind that has been seen by people from all over the world.

The workshop will be in English and translation will not be provided.

This workshop is preferably for couples only.
